Teatro Solís and The Montevideo Philharmonic Orchestra will present The Magic Flute.
To celebrate the fifteenth anniversary since its reopening, Teatro Solís re-stages The Magic Flute with the Montevideo Philharmonic Orchestra, musical direction of Ligia Amadio and stage direction of Italian Zamira Pasceri.
As part of the 2019 Opera Season, and after more than 20 years, Teatro Solís premieres Mozart’s The Magic Flute, under the stage direction of Italian Zamira Pasceri; and the Montevideo Philharmonic Orchestra, under musical direction of Ligia Amadio. An impressive production sponsored by the municipality of Montevideo and Teatro Solís.
One of the most outstanding arias of this opera will be that of Argentine soprano Oriana Favaro, “La reina de la noche” that will share the stage with Savio Sperandio (Sarastro & Orador), Álvaro Zambrano (Tamino), Camila Titinger (Pamina) and Federico Sanguinetti (Papageno).

“It is a true honor to see the beautiful Camila Titinger as Pamina. Camila has a resplendent voice, managed with great musicality. She is at the beginning of an international career that will certainly make it difficult to see her on the local scene in the coming years. She is impressive, a voice of great timber beauty and with a strong bass tone that is required for this highly demanding role.”

“… Brazilian soprano Camila Titinger in the role of Pamina was a fantastic revelation. Her beautiful tone of voice, richness of nuances and fine sensitivity made her the most applauded singer…”
